Girls aged 10–18 are in one of the most interesting, fast-moving phases of their lives — and fashion, for the most part, has simply not kept up. The kids' section is too young. The women's section is too grown up. And everything pitched at this age group usually feels like it was designed by someone who hasn't actually spent time with a 13-year-old.

The Marshmallow Icon is the brand that lives in that gap. Not grown-up clothes made smaller. Not kids' clothes made longer. Clothes that are genuinely, specifically, thoughtfully made for this stage.

We make small, deliberate drops — limited collections, each named after a girl, each with its own personality and palette. No fast fashion. No filler pieces. Just clothes a real girl will actually reach for.

How we make it

The science of fit. Seriously.

TMI was founded by a research scientist who spent 14 years solving complex problems with data. She brought that same approach to sizing — because the way most brands size clothes for this age group is, frankly, not based on much at all.

We took real measurements from real girls. We built our size charts from that data. The result is clothing that actually fits the bodies wearing it — not an ideal version of those bodies.

Girls at this age grow at completely different rates. We've introduced Regular and Tall sizing because a 12-year-old who is 5'2" and a 12-year-old who is 5'7" should both find something that fits.

The origin

It started with one girl who couldn't find clothes she liked.

Our founder Kshama is a research scientist and data nerd who moved back to India and watched her daughter come home empty-handed from every shopping trip. Not because she was difficult. Because the clothes for her age simply didn't exist in the way they should.

So she built them. With the same rigour she brought to 14 years of scientific research — real data, real testing, real attention to detail. The Marshmallow Icon is what happens when a scientist decides fashion deserves to be taken seriously too.
